Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

The Role
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the day-to-day logistics of our supply chain operations. This role demands a high level of operational focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work hands-on with suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing supplier relationships, inventory control, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure the seamless flow of goods to our stores.
The role requires oversight of crucial activities, including the weekly procurement of fresh produce, dry goods, and equipment. You'll ensure optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and alignment with the business’s operational needs. Close collaboration with Store and District Managers is essential to support operational efficiency and meet performance and cost targets. Success in this role will come from your ability to drive improvements in the supply chain through real-time solutions and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: What you ́ll do
• Supplier Management: Oversee supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries, adherence to quality standards, and cost-effectiveness. Directly monitor and assess supplier performance.
• Procurement Oversight: Manage the weekly ordering process for fresh produce, dry goods, and essential equipment, ensuring inventory levels are maintained to meet operational demands.
• Waste Control & Profitability: Implement measures to minimize waste across the supply chain,
optimizing margins and enhancing profitability.
• Leadership: Lead and support a small, dedicated team, taking an active role in day-to-day supply
chain management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Operational Coordination: Partner with Store and District Managers to integrate supply chain
operations with store activities, enabling smooth day-to-day operations.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the global supply chain team to
refine processes and enhance efficiency.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide timely reports and insights, leveraging real-time data to
drive operational improvements and support performance targets.
• Staff Training & Development: Conduct hands-on training sessions for the operational team,
equipping them with best practices and knowledge in supply chain processes.

In the role of Supply Chain Manager, your interpersonal skills will play a key role. You are diplomatic by nature, with a natural ability to influence and engage others, bringing them along on the journey. You are passionate about driving change and unafraid to ask critical questions about current practices, offering suggestions for improvements that can add more value. You take initiative, work independently, and make quick decisions when needed. Additionally, you are analytical and organized. It's important that you enjoy working independently and have the drive to carve out your place within the organization.
We envision you have several years of experience in logistics and supply chain management. While relevant education is preferred, it is not a requirement. Strong IT and system understanding will be crucial. You are well-versed in using Excel as a working tool and capable of compiling reports and analyzing relevant data. Experience with project work is advantageous. You have strong communication skills and are proficient in English.
